'OITNB' STAR WANTS MORE TIME: The brevity of a runway show was news to Laura Prepon, who plays the gorgeous trouble magnet Alex Vause on Netflix's "Orange Is the New Black." After Christian Siriano's show on Saturday, she told the designer, "I wanted it to be longer." Is she happy to shed her beigey bland prison duds? "Are you kidding? I get to wear this," she said, indicating her Siriano animal print strapless top and black, wide-legged pants. As for her look on the show, she said that makeup artists "don't do much for us. But at least I get to wear my eyeliner. I've got this rockabilly thing going on."
A MUTUAL ADMIRATION SOCIETY: Anna Wintour and daughter Bee Shaffer got up out of their front row seats to cross the aisle at the Public School show to greet Renée Elise Goldsberry, currently playing in the Broadway hit "Hamilton." The actress (also on "The Good Wife") who was attending her first, and for this season at least, last show, was in awe of the scene. "My eyes are popping out of my head. It's a small town and here's a totally different group of people. Fashion defines New York City in the same way that Broadway does." Indeed, and when fashion's leader comes to you? "I couldn't believe it. I am so honored. I guess my life is complete."
