Lindsay Lohan will sit down with legendary journalist Barbara Walters for a one-on-one interview on Nov. 16, ABC said.

TMZ reported that Walters reached out to Lohan about an interview when it was announced that she would be portraying Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming "Liz & Dick" biopic.

Lohan has been hesitant to grant interviews, the website reported, because she has been afraid of being asked questions she is not prepared to answer. But according to TMZ, Lohan trusts that Walters will not go too far with her questions.

The interview will reportedly focus on Lohan's role in "Liz & Dick" and the parallel between her life and the life of Taylor, such as child stardom, difficult childhoods, living life in the public eye and dealing with addiction, according to TMZ.

The website says the interview is set to coincide with the airing of "Liz & Dick" on Lifetime.

Based on the true story of the tumultuous love affair of Taylor and Richard Burton, "Liz & Dick" will premiere Nov. 25 at 9 p.m.
