Pop star Miley Cyrus canceled her concert at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., last night after suffering a strong allergic reaction to antibiotics and being taken to a nearby hospital, E! Online reports.

Cyrus tweeted, "Kansas, I promise I'm as [heartbroken] as you are. I wanted so badly 2 be there 2night. Not being with y'all makes me feel [expletive] than I already do."

She also tweeted a photo of herself from her hospital bed. Much of her face was obscured by a toy octopus dangling in front of her.

Sprint Center had earlier issued a release announcing that the show had been canceled, but did not indicate if the concert would be rescheduled.

Cyrus has been battling an undisclosed illness since last week. Earlier this month, Cyrus canceled a show in Charlotte, N.C., when she got the flu.
