Naya Rivera of "Glee" married actor Ryan Dorsey Saturday in a small, private ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
"We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife," the couple told People magazine Wednesday. "Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for. . . . True love always prevails."
The magazine said the bride wore a Monique Lhuillier gown while the groom sported a Dolce & Gabbana suit. Rivera, 27, carried a bouquet of daisies and baby's breath and the couple exchanged Neil Lane rings before a small gathering of family.
Dorsey, a native of the roughly 1,500-person town of Chesapeake, West Virginia, just outside the state capitol of Charleston, has appeared in episodes of "Southland," "Parks and Recreation" and TNT's "Mob City." In 2011, when he was 27, he represented West Virginia in Cosmopolitan magazine's "Bachelor of the Year" feature.
He attended The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and then moved to Los Angeles, where he met Rivera four years ago, People said. Their friendship turned romantic, the magazine added, soon after she and rapper Big Sean called off their engagement in April.
Dorsey and Rivera each posted Instagram photos on Saturday, showing images of themselves on horseback along a sandy beach. The two are now back in Los Angeles, where they make their home.
Rivera plays cheerleader-turned-singer-actress Santana Lopez on "Glee." After becoming engaged to Big Sean in October 2013, Rivera and the rapper split up in early April.
