Parker: High heels led to foot problems
ActressSarah Jessica Parker says years of performing in high heels have created a bone growth on one of her feet. "For 10 or so years, I literally ran in heels. I worked 18-hour days and never took them off," she told the online magazine Net-a-Porter. "I wore beautiful shoes, some better made than others, and never complained." While filming "I Don't Know How She Does It," Parker, 47, donned the inexpensive shoes her character would wear, and slipped on the plastic soles, twisting her ankle. "I went to a foot doctor and he said . . . 'That bone there . . . You've created that bone. It doesn't belong there.' The moral of the story is, the chickens are coming home to roost."
