Toronto TV morning-show host Melissa Grelo spotted the royal sibling at Shelter Island's posh Sunset Beach hotel with André Balazs, whose company owns the Shore Road establishment as well as six other luxury hotels nationwide.
"Just another day in the Hamptons," Grelo tweeted early Sunday afternoon with a photo. "Pippa Middleton here at Shelter Island as a guest of hotelier Andre Balazs." MTV Canada host Aliya Jasmine Sovani -- who was dining at the hotel and, like, Grelo, has reported for the Toronto news channel CP24 -- tweeted a photo of Grelo "taking a picture of Pippa Middleton walking into our restaurant."
Sovani told Us Weekly Monday that Middleton, who "was very low-key" and "didn't have security" as she enjoyed a two-hour meal with friends, had gone unnoticed until being recognized as she waited to use the ladies' room. "She got really embarrassed when some people recognized her while she was in line," Sovani said. "She actually turned bright red!"
"Note to celebs or near-royalty who visit Sunset Beach," Grelo tweeted jokingly. "You will have to wait in line for the bathroom like the rest of us commoners."
Sovani also told Us she later saw Middleton outdoors "walking around with bare feet, holding her wedges in her hand."
People magazine said Middleton and two friends had eaten at the seafood restaurant Catch, in Manhattan's trendy Meatpacking District, on Saturday before she took a seaplane to Shelter Island.
