Queen Elizabeth attends Prince George's 1st birthday party

England's Queen Elizabeth II was among the royal guests at her great-grandson Prince George's first birthday party Tuesday, People magazine reports. The Queen arrived at Kensington Palace, the home of the tyke's parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, around 4 p.m. local time and remained for 50 minutes, the magazine said. Other guests included George's maternal grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and their children, Pippa and James; godparents Zara and Mike Phillips and their daughter Mia; the parents' private secretary, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton; and Kate's friend Emilia Jardine-Paterson. Paternal grandparents Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles were away visiting Scotland this week.
