Boutique owner and "Basketball Wives" reality star Evelyn Lozada is engaged to Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford.
"YES!" Lozada tweeted on Christmas Day, posting a photo of an engagement ring. "I'm overjoyed and in complete and utter shock!" she added Thursday to People magazine. "What a different year-and-a-half it has been -- I'm truly happy!"
Lozada, 38, had been married six weeks in August 2012 when she filed for divorce from football player Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson in the wake of his domestic-violence arrest and subsequent termination by the Miami Dolphins.
Her representative told People she "wasn't expecting a proposal at all," and that when Crawford, 32, got down on one knee on Christmas, "It took Evelyn by surprise."
Lozada said in November she was pregnant and early this month revealed Crawford was the father. The baby is due in late March. She has a grown daughter, Shaniece, from a previous relationship.
