Film star Scarlett Johansson, who's engaged to French ad-agency manager Romain Dauriac, is expecting her first child, according to multiple reports.
The reports said Johansson, 29, was pregnant, roughly six months after having become engaged. Johansson's representative did not return a Newsday request for comment.
The "Her" actress, who reprises her "Avengers" role as the Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff, in next month's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," became quietly engaged around August 2013, though news did not leak until she wore her vintage Art Deco engagement ring at the Venice International Film Festival in early September.
Johansson, who won the Tony Award for featured actress in a play for the 2010 revival of "A View from the Bridge," was married to film star Ryan Reynolds from 2008 until they separated at the end of 2010 and divorced a few months later. She began dating advertising executive Nate Naylor shortly afterward, but the two broke up in October 2012.
Dauriac, 31, was formerly editor of the French quarterly magazine Clark, which described itself as the country's "first lifestyle magazine dedicated to street culture." He then began managing an advertising agency, according to French media.
Johansson told "Good Morning America" in January that she was "not doing any wedding planning." "Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and to really savor," she told People the same month.
In November, Esquire named her its "Sexiest Woman Alive 2013," making her the magazine's only two-time designee. She was previously "Sexiest Woman Alive 2006."
