Have "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara and "Magic Mike XXL" actor Joe Manganiello set a wedding date and locale?
Us Weekly reported Thursday that the couple, who became engaged on Christmas Day, would wed Nov. 22 at The Breakers hotel and resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The 140-acre, oceanfront landmark -- originating as The Palm Beach Inn in 1896, renamed The Breakers in 1901, and rebuilt in 1904 after a fire the previous year -- has two golf courses, eight restaurants, tennis courts, a spa and other high-end amenities.
Vergara's representative told Newsday, "I'm not at liberty to discuss my client's wedding." Manganiello's said, "It is my policy not to comment on clients' personal affairs."
Manganiello, 38, proposed to four-time Emmy Award-nominee Vergara, 42, after reportedly dating for six months. Last month, he said on "Live! with Kelly and Michael" that he had learned a smattering of Spanish for the proposal, which took place during a winter vacation in Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii.
"I had a big speech in Spanish, and that's what I was nervous about," Manganiello told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. "The last thing you want to do is, like, mess up the Spanish on the proposal to the Colombian woman." One phrase Manganiello included, he said, was "Eres mi todo," which translates to "You are my everything."
Vergara began an on-and-off relationship with Florida businessman Nick Loeb in 2010. On May 3, 2014, she and Loeb attended the White House Correspondents Dinner, where she met Manganiello for the first time. On May 24, 2014, the actress announced that she and Loeb, who were engaged to be married, were no longer a couple. Vergara and Manganiello reportedly began dating in July.
