A museum and library that holds artifacts from Suffolk County and other parts of Long Island. The mueseum building was built in 1930 but holds artifacts dating back to the 17th-18th centuries.
Currently this society holds over 20,000 artifacts inside the building and it is still growing.
Hours: Museum and gift shop open all year 12:30-4:30 p.m. Tues.-Sat , research library open 12:30-4:30 p.m. Wed.-Sat.-
