Taylor Swift, Katy Perry compete for awards

How can we choose between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, both of whom are competing in the female artist and fiercest fans categories at the Radio Disney Music Awards? Perry's "Roar" is also a song of the year nominee, and "Everything Has Changed," Swift's duet with Ed Sheeran, is up for musical collaboration. Demi Lovato rounds out the female artist category and One Direction completes the fiercest fans slate. Emblem 3, One Direction and R5 will vie for best group, and Austin Mahone, Cody Simpson and Justin Timberlake are up for male artist. Vote at disney.com/RDMA through April 6. The awards will be handed out April 26 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and the ceremony will air on the Disney Channel April 27 at 8 p.m.

'Idol's' honest Harry

After performing on "American Idol" Thursday, season 12 winner Candice Glover said Harry Connick Jr. is the judge she'd want to hear from first. "Everybody talks about how harsh he is, but I like stuff like that," she says. "I want him to be completely honest with me. I almost yelled in the mic, 'Can you judge me?' "
