Crystal's '700 Sundays' returns in fall
There are apparently a few more Sundays left in Billy Crystal, The Associated Press reports. The star of "City Slickers" and "When Harry Met Sally" said Tuesday he will reprise his one-man autobiographical show "700 Sundays" on Broadway for a 9-week stand this fall. "700 Sundays" was a Broadway success during the 2004-05 season, winning a Tony Award for special theatrical experience. Previews will begin Nov. 5 at the Imperial Theatre, with an opening night set for Nov. 13.
SNL losing Hader after this weekend's show
Bill Hader is leaving "Saturday Night Live" after an eight-year run, The Associated Press reports. His spokesman confirmed that the comedian will depart "SNL" after this weekend's season finale. Hader, 34, joined the NBC sketch-comedy show in 2005. He has since made his mark with a range of impersonations including Al Pacino, Vincent Price, and James Carville. Hader's films include "Superbad," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "Knocked Up" and "Pineapple Express."
New J. Lo address is Water Mill estate
Jennifer Lopez is buying a 3-acre Hamptons estate on the market for $9.995 million, a source close to the real estate deal said, Newsday's Valerie Kellogg reports. The eight-bedroom, 7.5-bath home is on a private cul-de-sac in Water Mill. It comes with a pool, pool house, outdoor shower, sauna, steam room and theater, according to The Corcoran Group's listing. The 8,500-square-foot house was built in 2004. "She'll be in for summer at some point," the source said.
