The female form is always celebrated on the red carpet, but at the Golden Globes last night the focus was extreme: from bombshells to baby bumps.
Bodies beautiful wore intense colors - loads of green (Angelina Jolie in Versace, Elisabeth Moss in Donna Karan, and Catherine Zeta-Jones in Monique Lhuillier, hand-in-hand with husband Michael Douglas). The OMG moments were red, as in January Jones' barely-there fringed Versace and Sofia Vergara - talk about dangerous curves in Vera Wang.
On the lighter side, lots of lingerie shades: Nicole Kidman in pale sequined Prada; Scarlett Johansson in lacy, beaded blush; "Glee" star Dianna Agron in nude J. Mendel; and Jennifer Lopez wearing white Zuhair Murad, which glorified one of her major, um, assets.
Sticking with sexy black were Eva Longoria in Zac Posen (take that, Tony Parker), Halle Berry in corseted, thigh-high slit Nina Ricci (witchy glam), and Piper Perabo in a stunning Oscar de la Renta, which she chose, she said, because, after all, "this is a black-tie affair."
