To the cynical, celebrity weddings are just celebrity divorces that haven't happened yet. Yet the rich and the famous are looking for the same thing as any of us - someone to love and spend our lives with, someone to pin hopes and futures on. For fans and admirers of the stars among these 10 notable marriages of 2010, these couples put the "celebrate" in "celebrity."
NICOLE RICHIE AND JOEL MADDEN
As a couple, they had a good run. Rev. Run of Run-DMC - who as it turns out is actually a real reverend - performed the wedding ceremony of socialite Richie, daughter of singer Lionel Richie, and Good Charlotte frontman Madden in Los Angeles this month.
Something borrowed, something Green: The "Transformers" ingenue transformed herself into a married woman with her June wedding in Hawaii to the "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" star.
JANE LYNCH AND DR. LARA EMBRY
CALISTA FLOCKHART AND HARRISON FORD
Han is no longer Solo. Engaged on Valentine's Day 2009 after more than seven years together, the "Star Wars" star and the "Ally McBeal" lead were wed in June in New Mexico, with the governor and the state's supreme court justice presiding. Emperor Palpatine wasn't available?
ALICIA KEYS AND SWIZZ BEATZ

She was an "American Idol," but married a Canadian Senator - hockey player Fisher of the Ottawa Senators. The guests at their Georgia wedding in July included NHL players, country singers Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Garth Brooks and, yes, "Idol" judges Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson.
PENÉLOPE CRUZ AND JAVIER BARDEM

They became romantically involved for real in 2007, and married this past July in a small ceremony in the Bahamas. They are expecting a child in March.
KATY PERRY AND RUSSELL BRAND
The wacky wonders - singer Perry ("I Kissed a Girl," "Firework") and comic Brand - went subcontinental for their marriage, tying the knot in a traditional, multiday Hindu ceremony in India. You may now kiss the guy.

Former first daughter and recent Columbia University master's-degree graduate Clinton and investment banker Mezvinsky - himself the son of two former members of the U.S. House of Representatives - married in July in Rhinebeck, N.Y.
