In an interview with MTV, Jim Parsons revealed that he'd welcome the chance to play one of Batman's archenemies, the Riddler, on screen.

"I would love to play a superhero in a movie," Parsons said while promoting the animated movie "Home," which opens Friday. "I would like it to be a villain. And I would really like to play The Riddler. I don't feel they're using the Riddler very much, are they?"

He's right. The Riddler hasn't been seen on screen since Jim Carrey played the role in 1995's "Batman Forever."

Parsons, who turns 42 tomorrow, can be heard in "Home," in which he voices an alien who lands on Earth and befriends a resourceful teenager named Tip, who is voiced by Rihanna.

'Fraggle Rock' will roll

After nearly a decade in the works, we are getting a live-action movie adaptation of the hit children's series "Fraggle Rock," and Joseph Gordon-Levitt has signed on to star and produce.

The beloved musical puppet series, which was created by the late Jim Henson, told the tale of a group of creatures called Fraggles who lived in caves. The Fraggles often dealt with the hardworking Doozers and furry giants called Gorgs. No word yet on an official release date or further casting.
