Justin Bieber has made quite the musical comeback, transitioning from teen heartthrob to mature pop star. Bieber, 21, stopped by BBC Radio 1 Tuesday, where he talked about his new album "Purpose" and compared his changeover to that of Justin Timberlake.
"He was in 'NSYNC and of course they had an amazing sound, but it was also, it was young. It was for teenagers," Bieber said. "And I feel when he transitioned and started making, like, 'Sexy Back' and stuff, he really found something that was unique to what he was feeling and what he wanted to do. So I think it takes time as an artist for you to develop your style and develop what you like and what you don't like."
Bieber also discussed how he decided on the album's title. "For a while there I feel like I lost my purpose," he said. "And I feel like I found my purpose again."
The new album comes out Nov. 13.
Hemsworth talks Cyrus
In his interview with Elle magazine, Liam Hemsworth said his relationship with Miley Cyrus "wasn't just a fling."
"We were together five years, so I don't think those feelings will ever change. And that's good because that proves to me that it was real," he said. "It really was an important part of my life and always will be. She's a free spirit. I think she'll always surprise people with what she does, but she's not a malicious person . . . she's a young girl who wants to do what she wants to do."
