Nicki Minaj showed her support for "Straight Outta Compton" Tuesday by posting a photo from the movie on her Instagram account and expressing her happiness about its success. But not everyone appreciated it.

"When black/HipHop driven movies start doing these numbers at the box office EVERYONE takes notice!" she wrote. She added "Our movies should always do these numbers. It only opens doors for more!"

After one poster responded: "I love how she has nothing to do with this movie yet she tries to act like she's a part of the film," Minaj shot back with an unprintable reply.

Over the weekend, Minaj and her boyfriend, Meek Mill, rented out a theater to see the movie.

Goodman steps out

After much deliberation, Len Goodman has decided he will not return as a judge on "Dancing with the Stars" this fall.

Executive producer Rob Wade confirmed Wednesday that Goodman, 71, chose to leave the show due to his schedule as a judge on the British series "Strictly Come Dancing" and the birth of his grandson, People magazine reports.

"He still might be involved in the season at some capacity, but we will have to wait and see," Wade said.

Goodman's slot will be filled by guest judges.
