Selena Gomez has revealed she underwent chemotherapy for lupus in a Billboard magazine interview.
The "Good For You" singer, 23, also said she also "could've had a stroke."
"I was diagnosed with lupus, and I've been through chemotherapy. That's what my break was really about," Gomez said in the Oct. 17 issue of Billboard magazine about the time she took away from the spotlight in early 2014 and all the rumors that came because of it.
"I wanted so badly to say, 'You guys have no idea. I'm in chemotherapy,' " Gomez said, "I locked myself away until I was confident and comfortable again," she added.
McCartney pays tributePaul McCartney is keeping the late Michael Jackson's music alive. On Tuesday, the former Beatle released a new remix of "Say Say Say," his and Jackson's 1983 duet, on Facebook. It features unused lead vocals from both performers.
Steve Orchard, McCartney's chief engineer, said that he edited and arranged the lead vocals. "We rearranged the vocal sequence and inverted the original performance so that Michael opened the first verse instead of Paul, to give the song a different take to the original version," Orchard said. "Then we added additional backing vocal parts from the original multitrack."
