Shots have been fired in the galaxy. Disney and Lucasfilm threw major shade at Amy Schumer after seeing her on the cover of GQ magazine, in which she's wearing a Princess Leia-style bikini and getting frisky with robot C-3PO.

The studios said over social media they never approved the use of the characters in the photo shoot and called it "inappropriate."

After fans expressed distaste for the photo on Twitter, the official "Star Wars" account responded to each tweet: "Lucasfilm & Disney didn't approve, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner."

Mark Hamill, the original Luke Skywalker, tweeted a different opinion: "Got excited when I saw @amyschumer @GQMagazine pics & thought she was just cast in Ep 8! We should be so lucky."

In the August issue of Vogue, Oscar winner Nicole Kidman is all aglow talking about marriage to country star Keith Urban. The actress, 48, said there is only one thing about their relationship that she would have changed.

"I wish I could have met him much earlier and had way more children with him, but I didn't," Kidman said. "I mean, if I could have had two more children with him, that would have been just glorious. But the actress says Urban, 47, advises her " 'The wanting mind, Nicole. Shut it down.' "
