Chazz Palminteri's 'Ask Chazz' airs on SiriusXM tonight
Before actor Chazz Palminteri appears at an Oct. 29 benefit in Elmsford, the Academy Award nominee will take questions from callers for "Ask Chazz" on SiriusXM.
The Bedford resident, who broke big for writing and starring in "A Bronx Tale," will take to the airwaves tonight from 6 to 7 p.m., for his second of four Wednesday-night call-in shows this month on channel 104 of the satellite radio provider.
"I'm there to talk to the people about [show] business — or to talk about anything — but especially about the business, and helping writers, directors, actors and producers," he told Newsday this morning.
A few days after he wraps this month-long run, Palminteri will head to the Westchester Broadway Theatre to tell similar stories and take audience questions to fundraise for the Lighthouse Youth Theatre, a local children's theater company that's planning a move from Thornwood to Armonk.
"I'm successful, and I'm very happy about it, but I love giving back," Palminteri said. "A lot of people, [including Robert] De Niro, gave me my big break, so I'm always there to speak to young talent and help them whenever I can."
Check out more of my interview with Palminteri later this month, only on Newsday Westchester.
