Taylor Swift, Conor Kennedy split, report says

Is it splitsville for Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy?

According to Us Weekly, the couple have recently ended their relationship. A source who claims to be a close friend of Swift said "they quietly parted ways a while ago," adding that "it was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They’re fine."

Hudson Buzz speculated this week that the couple had broken up -- the country star and Kennedy have not been seen together in some time. And a recent story in Star magazine claimed that Swift had hooked up with Kennedy’s cousin, Patrick Schwarzenegger, at a family event.

If it’s true that Caylor is no more, the 18-year-old Kennedy, who Swift recently called a "grown man," has been experiencing a lot of change in recent weeks. Besides the alleged end of his relationship, his father, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., recently sold their Bedford home.

Kennedy and Swift were first spotted together in July when they met for thin-crust pizza slices at Marcella's Pizzeria in Mount Kisco. The young couple were also seen together at the Kennedy family’s Cape Cod estate over the summer, and Swift visited Kennedy at his Massachusetts boarding school for a romantic weekend in September. And who can forget when the couple reportedly crashed a Kennedy family wedding?

With this news, the question is whether Swift will pen a tune about Kennedy, as she's done after break-ups with exes including Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas and John Mayer.
