Taylor Swift on Conor Kennedy: He's a 'grown man'

Is Taylor Swift stepping out on Conor Kennedy?

Despite giving a gushing interview about her Bedford-based boyfriend, the tabloids are abuzz with rumors that Swift has been spending time with other guys -- including one of Kennedy’s cousins.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the 22-year-old singer opened up for the first time about her relationship with 18-year-old Kennedy, with whom she was first spotted at a Mount Kisco pizzeria in July.

"How did I kidnap him?," Swift asked, referring to reports that she "kidnapped" Kennedy by flying him to Nashville. "You can't kidnap a grown man!”

She also said she was invited to a Kennedy wedding reception in August, even though the bride’s mother and Kathie Lee Gifford accused her of crashing the event.

"I have no idea what happened there,” Swift said. “I think that story was based on the biggest misunderstanding, 'cause I would never knowingly show up somewhere that I thought I wasn't invited to. And I would never want to upstage anybody."

But is Swift starting to get restless in her relationship?

Last weekend, she reportedly invited a member of the popular boy band One Direction to a private dinner after an awards show in London. But before the mystery date could occur, Swift is said to have abruptly canceled.

Caylor fans should be more concerned about reports that Swift has been cheating on Kennedy with his cousin, Patrick Schwarzenegger. Star magazine claims that she and Schwarzenegger “hooked up” at a family event she attended with her boyfriend.

According to a source: “The previous day, she was all over Conor, so she hooked up with two cousins on consecutive nights!"

Can Caylor survive the rumors and their long-distance romance? After all, the last time they were spotted together was back in September for a romantic weekend near Kennedy's boarding school in Massachusetts.

Perhaps Swift can quash the gossip by bringing Kennedy as her date to the American Music Awards on Nov. 18. The singer tweeted yesterday that she is “unbelievably happy” that she received a nomination, and no doubt she’d be even happier if she could be escorted to the awards show by her “grown man.”
