The hatchery, first opened by the state in 1883, became a nonprofit educational facility in 1982. Brook and rainbow trout can be seen from fry through maturity, as well as fresh water fish, turtles and amphibians native to New York
Hours10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily Sept.-May; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sat. and Sun. June-August; closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
