The hatchery, first opened by the state in 1883, became a nonprofit educational facility in 1982. Brook and rainbow trout can be seen from fry through maturity, as well as fresh water fish, turtles and amphibians native to New York
Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily Sept.-May; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sat. and Sun. June-August; closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
