Tastings $12 for flight of six

Description:

Specialties include Sauvignon blanc, award-winning chardonnay, gewürztraminer, merlot and Meritage. The vineyard makes six wines, three reds and three whites. This intimate venue allows visitors to meet the owners, who often are doing the pouring. "We are one of those off-the-beaten-tracks, out-of-the-way places," says owner and winemaker Adam Suprenant. The winery is named after the distinctively shaped lighthouse that guides ships passing Orient Point. Its first vintage was in 2008. Co-owner Laura Klahre is also a beekeeper, so be sure to pick up some local honey and other bee-related products made by Blossom Meadow. There's even an observation hive in the tasting room.

No pets, outside food or beverages allowed. Groups 6 or more by appointment only, as well as buses and limousines. Tasting room serving winemaker Adam Suprenant's private label

Hours:

11-6 p.m. daily (Memorial Day-Labor Day); 11-6 p.m. Thurs.-Mon. Labor Day-Memorial Day
