The DNA Learning Center is the world's first science center devoted entirely to genetics education and is an educational unit of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, an important center for molecular genetics research. The center offers fun and challenging week-long summer camps for science enthusiasts entering 6th-12th grade. Guided by experienced instructors, students use sophisticated laboratory and computer equipment. The "Saturday DNA!" science activities program is open to the public by reservation only once a month on weekends throughout the academic year, visit website for complete schedule. Cablevision's multimedia presentation "Long Island Discovery'' is available 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Mon.-Fri.  Exhibit temporarily closed for renovation; please call for information: 516-367-5170.
