WHAT It’s May, and April showers have produced the expected flowers of spring and early summer. Thank goodness. “In Bloom,” the third exhibit at the recently inaugurated Reboli Center, showcases paintings by a Long Island artist the late Joseph Reboli particularly admired, as well as his own oils that reflect springtime on the Island. Besides Reboli landscapes, paintings by East End-based artist Ty Stroudsburg are featured.

WHAT Call them the comeback sisters. Dropped by their recording label and returning home to Alabama and get by on housecleaning, the Secret Sisters — Lydia and Laura Rogers — re-emerged with a new album, “You Don’t Own Me Anymore,” produced by Bandi Carlile. The recording has resurrected their musical career. “It had just gotten so awful, we had to file bankruptcy,” says Lydia. “We had to let these songs happen,” says her sister Laura. “We had to let ourselves be angry again.”
