The Earle-Wightman house (circa 1720), restored in 1972, serves as Oyster Bay Historical Society headquarters. Exhibits include the 18th-century one-room house and garden, furnished 1830s parlor, plus rotating exhibits.

Hours: Research library and museum 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tue.-Fri.; 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sat.; 1-4 p.m. Sun. or by appointment. Closed Mon.
