Museum: $7, $6 students and seniors, $3 ages 12 and younger; for planetarium shows or guided mansion tours, add $6 a person.

Special features: Outdoors Description:

The former home of William K. Vanderbilt II, a 24-room Spanish Revival mansion and marine museum with exhibit areas containing marine science specimens, natural history dioramas, a 3,000-year-old Egyptian mummy and other artifacts. Events include plays, concerts, telescope viewings, and year-round planetarium shows (Friday evenings, Sat. day and evening and Sun. day).  Living history mansion tours, weekends, May 24 through end of August. 

Sites available for private functions, including weddings and parties.

Hours:

11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tue.-Sat., noon-5 p.m. Sun. June 26-Sept. 3. Planetarium: Check website.
