Alec Baldwin will interview the filmmakers behind all three films in this season’s SummerDocs series in East Hampton.

Baldwin last year became a co-chair of the Hamptons International Film Festival, which is presenting the eighth annual SummerDocs series.

Director Jeff Feuerzeig will speak at a screening of his film “Author: The JT LeRoy Story,” about a literary wunderkind who turned out to be a hoax. Director Ted Braun will discuss his documentary “Betting on Zero,” about a hedge fund manager who attempts to expose the nutrition company Herbalife as a pyramid scheme. Directors R.J. Culter and David Van Taylor will talk about their critically-acclaimed film “A Perfect Candidate,” an in-depth look at Oliver North’s 1994 campaign for the U.S. Senate.
