Star Vin Diesel announced at CinemaCon in Las Vegas this week that the eighth part of the series will be released on April 14, 2017, multiple media outlets report.

This is the first installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise that will be completely shot after actor Paul Walker, an integral part of the series, died in a fiery car crash in 2013.
