'Sex and the City' hottie speaks
Just what kind of talent did Jason Lewis possess that helped him beat out everyone else vying to play Smith Jerrod, Samantha's lover on "Sex and the City"?
"Something about me being able to read," the smoking-hot actor joked to Entertainment Weekly.
But seriously, folks: "I think I just understood the material and where [the producers] wanted it to be."
The role has garnered Lewis (ex-boyfriend of Rosario Dawson) some serious exposure, and he said it was "phenomenal" to work with the cast and crew again on the hotly anticipated SATC movie.
As for rumors that the franchise's four female stars didn't get along during filming, Smith said that although he mostly worked with Kim Cattrall (Samantha) one-on-one, he "never really experienced the animosity you guys seem to experience solely in the press."
