Radcliffe film to open Hamptons film festThe Beat Generation drama "Kill Your Darlings," starring Daniel Radcliffe as poet Allen Ginsberg, will be the opening night feature at this year's Hamptons International Film Festival, Newsday's Rafer Guzmán reports. Director and co-writer John Krokidas, and co-star Dane DeHaan (the upcoming "Spider-Man" sequel) are scheduled to attend the screening at Guild Hall in East Hampton. The festival also announced its centerpiece film, Alexander Payne's "Nebraska," which earned Bruce Dern a best actor award at Cannes, and its closing night film, "12 Years a Slave," starring Chiwetel Ejiofor as a free black man sold into slavery. The festival runs Oct. 10-14.
