Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel star in "Youth," the Southampton opening-night film Friday at the Hamptons International Film Festival, which began Thursday.
The two actors play a composer and a film director, respectively, who meet at a resort in the Swiss Alps and ponder their twilight years. The cast also includes Paul Dano, Rachel Weisz and Jane Fonda.
Morgan Freeman is expected to attend a screening of "The C Word," a documentary on cancer that he narrated.
Celebrities will begin to descend in earnest tomorrow, when Olivia Wilde is scheduled to attend a screening of "Meadowland," in which she plays the distraught mother of a missing girl. Thomas Mann and Lucy Fry will be at a showing of their drama, "The Preppie Connection," and Bel Powley will attend a screening of "A Royal Night Out."
Dan Rather will also sit for a live interview at Sag Harbor's Bay Street Theater.
The 23rd edition of the festival continues through Monday.
