It seems Kenny Chesney didn't start the fire, either.

The country superstar's new single, "American Kids" (Blue Chair), follows in the tradition of Bob Dylan and Billy Joel with its image-filled, stream-of-consciousness verses and defiant sing-along chorus. I

t's quite a departure for Chesney, signaling new expectations for his upcoming "The Big Revival," as he turns to minor-key vocals and more Mumford-styled arrangements. Of course, he doesn't veer too far from his multiplatinum path -- just enough to keep things interesting.
