Divine Fits

Divine Fits

Happy holidays! It's that time of year when we take a look back to celebrate what kept us moving forward. This week, we'll countdown the Top 25 albums and next week we'll take on the singles.

20. The xx, “Coexist” (Young Turks): Spare, synthesized cool can still be emotional.

19. Jack White, “Blunderbuss” (Third Man/Columbia): Nothing rocks harder than a Jack White scorned.

18. Gaslight Anthem, “Handwritten” (Island Def Jam): Using rock's building blocks to craft something new, yet familiar.

17. Pink, “The Truth About Love” (RCA): No one tells “The Truth” like Pink, going from tough with Eminem to tender with fun.'s Nate Ruess and back again.

16. Divine Fits, “A Thing Called Divine Fits” (Merge): An indie-rock supergroup of sorts featuring Spoon's Britt Daniel and Handsome Furs' Dan Boeckner that is truly super.
