When Jay-Z has something to say, he doesn’t call a news conference or tweet about it. He drops a new song. (Hear it on his Life & Times website. BTW, there are expletives in the song. You have been warned.)

On Thursday, Hova unleashed “Open Letter,” a roundup of rhymes about his recent mentions in the news, using “Y’all gon’ learn today.” Here’s what he had to say, um, rap:

ABOUT THAT CUBA TRIP: “I done turned Havana to Atlanta/Guayabera shirts and bandannas... Politicians never did [expletive] for me/Except lie to me, distort history/Wanna give me jail time and a fine/Fine, let me commit a real crime.”

ABOUT SELLING HIS STAKE IN THE BROOKLYN NETS: “Would've brought the Nets to Brooklyn for free/ Except I made millions off it, you [expletive] dweeb/I still own the building, I'm still keeping my seat/Y'all buy that [expletive], you'd better keep y'all’s receipt”

ABOUT PRESIDENT OBAMA: “Obama said ‘Chill, you gonna get me impeached’/But you don't need this [expletive] anyway/Chill with me on the beach”

Surprisingly, there was nothing on buying tickets to his upcoming Made in America music festival in Philadelphia, featuring Beyonce as a headliner. (Wonder how he landed her?) Also nothing on the upcoming soundtrack to “The Great Gatsby” that he supervised.

Maybe in “Open Letter (The Remix)”?
