Kanye West and Kings of Leon are set to headline the Governors Ball Music Festival June 7-9 on Randall's Island, positioning the third edition of the event as the East Coast's answer to Coachella.

The festival will mark West's first New York solo headlining show since 2008 and Kings of Leon's first New York show since 2010. A third headliner will also be added.

Three-day passes for the event go on sale at noon Friday through the GovBall.com website for $190. Organizers say that single-day passes may not be sold if the three-day passes sell out.

The other 60 or so acts on the bill also include some of the hottest around -- from Grammy nominees Miguel and The Lumineers to indie favorites Animal Collective and Yeasayer, from hip-hop veteran Nas to newcomer Kendrick Lamar, from British buzz band The Vaccines to American buzz band Japandroids. Long Island's Swear and Shake have also made the bill.
