Taking Back Sunday is hitting the road for a fall tour, taking a break from work on their sixth studio album.

The Rockville Centre-based band will wrap up the month-long cross-country tour with a show at The Emporium in Patchogue on Nov. 7. Tickets are $29.50 and go on sale Friday at noon through Ticketfly.

The tour, featuring Polar Bear Club and Transit as openers, starts Oct. 11 in Clifton Park, N.Y. However, the band also has some special shows set before the tour begins in earnest, including opening for Blink-182 at Mohegan Sun on Sept. 8 and headlining the celebration of the Starland Ballroom’s reopening in Sayreville, N.J., following the club’s damage during Hurricane Sandy, on Sept. 11 and 12. The Sept. 12 show will be broadcast on AXS TV at 11 p.m. that night.
