Kelly Clarkson (Aug. 19, Bethel Woods Center):
The original “American Idol” winner is on tour with pop rock band The Fray. Clarkson scored a mainstream radio hit this year with “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).”
Bargain hunters, rejoice! Ticketmaster announced a massive sale this morning on hundreds of area concerts that will run for the next three weeks, as Summer Ticket Deals.
The sale -- which includes shows at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, Nassau Coliseum, NYCB Theater at Westbury, The Paramount, and Brookhaven Amphitheater, as well as several Broadway shows and other venues in the city -- ties together several of the company’s promotions. Ticketmaster is offering 2-for-1 tickets at some shows, reduced prices on ticket four-packs at others, and lowering prices for some shows to below $40 and below $25 for others.
The “$40 Below” concerts include the Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band show Friday and the Beach Boys’ 50th Anniversary Show Sunday, as well as Kelly Clarkson (Aug. 21) at Jones Beach, and LMFAO at Nassau Coliseum on June 26.
The four-pack ticket specials include Stevie Nicks’ show at Jones Beach on June 29, where four tickets cost $15 apiece, and the Def Leppard show (July 13), where four tickets cost $18.75 apiece.
