Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz promised there would be surprises at the band’s Brooklyn Bowl show last night, part of VH1’s Super Bowl Blitz concerts leading up to the big game. And the band certainly delivered: Paramore’s Hayley Williams joined them for “Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down,” the show’s mascot Iggy the Penguin body surfed, and San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates showed off his bowling skills.

Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz told the capacity crowd at Barclays Center Saturday night that its plan is to inspire someone in the crowd to join a band that could become the next Green Day or Descendants or, yes, the next Fall Out Boy.
