The Monkees to tour: band announces 12 dates

The Monkees are getting back on the road, playing their first shows since Davy Jones died in February.
Michael Nesmith, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork announced today that the group will begin a 12-date tour in November. The trio will play the Paramount in Huntington on Dec. 1 and wrap up the tour at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan on Dec. 2.
