The "Flawless" singer already has eight nominations, including video of the year for "Drunk in Love," and will now perform on the Aug. 24 broadcast. The VMAs are special to Beyoncé, who revealed she was pregnant with daughter Blue Ivy at the 2011 awards.

No word on what she has planned, though she has time to craft something since the "On the Run" tour wrapped its American run Wednesday in San Francisco.
