REVIEW

On Daft Punk's new single "Get Lucky" (Columbia), the French duo parties like its 1979. The great Nile Rodgers offers a stellar scratch-guitar groove straight out of Chic's heyday, while Pharrell Williams provides silky smooth soul vocals about getting lucky and raising the bar of dance music. "Get Lucky" is sleek, retro-cool, as well as immediate and memorable. Get ready for it to dominate the clubs -- and probably more -- this summer.
