Sure, this year's edition of Z100's Jingle Ball features big stars like Taylor Swift, who just landed eight Grammy nominations, and John Mayer, who just scored a No. 1 album with "Battle Studies."

Everyone who watches "Grey's Anatomy" knows about The Fray, and "American Idol" fans are sure to go wild over Kris Allen and Jordin Sparks. And Pitbull's Latin-dance hybrid has been around for years.

However, the rest of the names on the Jingle Ball slate may not be as familiar, even though the music probably is.

Preshow, "Z100's All Access Lounge,"

Even if you get shut out of the main event, you can get to see some of the evening's stars at the preshow, "Z100's All Access Lounge," at Hammerstein Ballroom, 311 W. 34th St., Manhattan, from noon to 6 p.m. Friday. The event is free.

2 p.m. Meet Miranda Cosgrove from "iCarly"

3 p.m. Jay Sean performs. (Meet, 3:30 p.m.)
