While the official announcement is scheduled for Tuesday, the "Stay with Me" singer, 23, on Monday tweeted a photo with a close-up of his hand wearing a ring with the logo for SPECTRE, the global crime and terrorism syndicate of the Bond mythos.

Rolling Stone magazine, which said Smith's representatives did not return its request for comment, reported speculation the song could be released as early as Tuesday, when pre-sale tickets to the film go on sale.
