“Hamilton” writer-composer-star Lin-Manuel Miranda and music star Jennifer Lopez have collaborated on a song to benefit families of the Orlando shooting victims.

“Sooo @JLo & yours truly went in on a tune that will benefit” the Somos Orlando (“We Are Orlando”) campaign of the Manhattan-based Hispanic Federation, Miranda, 36, tweeted Monday. “Here’s a taste! #LMTWGR,” he added in a hashtag for the song, “Love Make the World Go Round.” In a video clip of himself in a recording studio, he raps, “What we got is love even when the sinners hate us / We cannot let them diminish or intimidate us / We sing out, we got the rhythm and the truth on our side / We cut through the divide and we do it with pride.”

Minutes after that tweet, Lopez, 46, posted her own, reading, “Me and @Lin_Manuel working in studio on something very special... #LMTWGR #LoveMakeTheWorldGoRound #happy4thofJuly.”

On its website, the long-standing nonprofit organization Hispanic Federation says funds raised for Somos Orlando “will address the long-term needs for mental health services that are culturally competent and bilingual. . . . Beyond emergency assistance, they will be provided with case management, crisis intervention, and mental health services, among other needs.” More than 95 percent of the 49 dead and 53 injured in the shooting at the gay night club Pulse in Orlando were Latino, the organization said.

Meanwhile, the producers of the Tony Award-winning best musical “Fun Home,” based on Alison Bechdel’s graphic-novel memoir, announced Tuesday that the show would perform a one-night benefit concert at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando on July 24, with 100 percent of the net proceeds benefiting Equality Florida and the victims of the Pulse shootings.
