Nicki Minaj pulled out of Sunday night's Hot 97 Summer Jam at MetLife Stadium after one of the station's on-air personalities dissed her single "Starships."

"I know there's some chicks here waiting to sing 'Starships' later, I'm not talking to y'all right now," DJ Peter Rosenberg said as he introduced rapper Kendrick Lamar earlier in the evening before tossing out some expletives to describe the Minaj single. "I'm here to talk about real hip-hop."

Once Lil Wayne, who runs the Young Money Cash Money Billionaires label that Minaj is signed to, heard about the comment, he declared on Twitter, "Young Money ain't doing summer jam."

Minaj, who was set to headline the show, then tweeted, "I go above and beyond for my fans. But won't ever go against Wayne's word. What he says, goes."

Some of the guests for Minaj's set, including Nas and Lauryn Hill, performed in her place. But other Young Money Cash Money Billionaires acts, including DJ Khaled and Busta Rhymes, also withdrew from the show, according to MTV.com.
