Several area bookstores will sell 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' at midnight on Friday

Several metro-area bookstores will be open at midnight Friday to deliver the first copies of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" to anxious readers.

But buyers beware-- book sellers warn that many copies from their first shipment are earmarked for customers who pre-ordered. Excess copies will be sold to walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis.
